Hart House Farm Committee Executive

Opportunity Detail

Hi Everyone! Want to get involved in the UofT community? Here is your chance! We have both undergrad students and grad students on the executive team and welcome you to apply! The Hart House Farm Committee comprises of 13 Executive Members who manages the event programming at the 150-acre Hart House Farm in the Caledon Hills. Although our committee name is the "Farm" Committee, our major roles are to create a naturalistic, peaceful, hedonistic atmosphere to help students and families relax at one of Toronto's greatest hidden gems and to promote environmental sustainability. Our events include Cider N' Song where we make apple cider and Sugaring Off where we make maple syrup from our very own maple trees. There are a Sauna and 2 ponds—perfect for a polar bear dip in the winter. In the upcoming school year, we will be working with many on-campus organizations and faculties to create new events on campus and build infrastructural improvements at the farm. All of this requires talent, skill, and dedication—which is where you come in! We look forward to reading your applications! Note: All our executive members have a vote on the committee and are eligible for Co-Curricular Record (CCR). IMPORTANT: Please send a copy of your CV to farm.committe@gmail.com by Friday Oct.6 at 11:59pm. Application Link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Q_pU_Nm5igRAq3Ru4GCFrCSUOzLah9zlWf7ph2buwZU/edit
