Mercy Ships Club at the University of Toronto (MSCUT)

Mercy Ships is a global charity that provides free medical and other services to the world’s poor. Currently, Mercy Ships provides services to the estimated one billion people that lack access to basic health care in developing African countries. The hospital ship, Africa Mercy, is the world’s largest hospital ship with a crew of volunteer doctors, nurses, and specialists. Africa Mercy provides first-rate medical professionals, state-of-the-art medical and surgical facilities and health-care training to communities in West Africa that lack those critical services. Mercy Ships has helped over 2 million people since it was established. Through free, basic health care and transformative surgeries, Mercy Ships has become the face of love in action.

The Mercy Ships Club at the University of Toronto is based at the St. George Campus. The mission of MSCUT is to raise awareness and funds for Mercy Ships through the university community. We will raise funds to allow medical resources and services to reach less developed countries around the world and provide hope and healing to those in need.
