Anthropology and Health Studies Association of University of Toronto Scarborough (AHA)

• The group will collectively represent the students enrolled in Anthropology and Health Studies programs at the University of Toronto Scarborough in a democratic manner.
• The DSA will function to enhance the academic experience of students enrolled in the Anthropology and Health Studies programs in the following ways:
o Enhancing academic progression and engagement for students in the Anthropology and Health Studies departments at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
o The creation of a community where students can interact with each other within common academic interests in a safe and friendly environment.
o The creation of a community where students can interact with faculty members of the Anthropology and Health Studies department to promote research, volunteer, and work opportunities.
o Providing advisory services for students within the Anthropology and Health Studies department, such as mentorship and essay editing.
o Working with the faculty to assess and improve courses offered by the department of Anthropology and Health Studies to ensure progression of the department’s academics with the interest of student body.
