Undergraduate Finance Association (UFA)

The Undergraduate Finance Association (“UFA”) is a student run club that has undertaken the goal of supporting students in developing the social, analytical, and leadership skills necessary to succeed in today’s demanding Financial industry. UFA has recognized the void in the education system in terms of applying course work to real life scenarios. In response UFA has introduced a 3-prong investment strategy that enables students to incorporate the concepts learned in class in the disciplines of economics, management, and finance, to identify investment opportunities.
UFA strongly believes in the concept of learning by doing. We apply our theoretical knowledge to practical applications, by producing high quality equity research reports and examining hypothetical M&A cases, to support our investment decisions. By making practical applications a mandatory element of UFA operations, we believe our members will develop the skills necessary to excel in today’s demanding financial sector. In addition, UFA offers various workshops, speaker series, and networking events to further develop the finance network, build relationships, and provide opportunities for those individuals with a passion in finance.
